What are the Collections:
Rock Me Designs has two categories of collections: Colorburst Collection, largely a range of affordable and stylish charm and friendship jewellery, and Bespoke Collection with custom designed jewellery for any special occasion from weddings, special birthdays to anniversaries.
How Rock Me Designs started:
Naoko Wood and Jennifer Liu Kelly met in their newly adopted home, London, after coming from Tokyo and New York City respectively. They discovered their mutual passion for gemstones and jewellery and became certified gemmologists at Gemmological Association of Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain. After many commissions to design and make jewellery for family and friends, birthdays and weddings, Naoko and Jennifer created Rock Me Designs Jewellery. It had early success with features in Perfect Wedding Magazine, stands at London Designer Wedding Show and stocked in numerous boutiques in Notting Hill, Islington and Chelsea. The business took a break in 2005 as Jennifer moved back to the US and Naoko raised a family of three little ones here in London.

“When I start to design, I might have an image or theme in my mind. I will lay out my entire selection of gemstones, epoxy charms covering all space on my workbench and play with them till I get inspired by a unique color combination or look. Seeing the variety of colors and visualizing a collection gets me really excited!”
Commitment to Quality:
As a gemmologist and an avid jewellery wearer, it is very important to Naoko that Rock Me Designs use quality gemstones and findings. All findings (chain, earring hoops, earring hooks, clasps) are made of sterling silver, gold vermeil or gold fill. Gold vermeil is sterling silver plated with 22 karat gold. Gold Fill is a base metal fused with gold. Both are suitable for those with sensitivity to metals.
A few years on, Naoko found herself making jewellery as a means of unwinding in the evening after an action packed fun-filled day with the children.
She has decided to revive Rock Me Designs; now with a whole new range of collections, Rock Me Designs is back!
