The design duo behind London and New York based Rock Me Designs, Jennifer Liu Kelly and Naoko Wood, met in 1998 as they were both planning weddings in their newly adopted London homes. After bonding over wedding dresses and caterers, they also discovered mutual interests in shopping, sushi, dim sum and most of all, jewellery! They quickly became friends and in addition to founding Rock Me, they are certified gemmologists from the world-renowned Gemmological Association and Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain.

Jen grew up in a small town in upstate New York. Her Chinese-American childhood was peppered with piano lessons and academic achievement but teen magazines and trips to New York City fed her love of fashion. After majoring in Mathematics at Cornell University, Jen moved to Manhattan to work in the grueling world of investment banking and where she gave equal dedication to shopping the mean streets of the city. After a career switch to the headquarters of the American retailer Ann Taylor, she was thrilled to discover a way to blend her professional and personal passions in the world of retail. Over the years, Jen has perfected her talent for buying beautiful jewels and loves blending luxury brands with high street basics to suit her glam, urban tomboy look.

Naoko developed her inimitable sense of global style from her international upbringing and travels. From Japan to Singapore and America to England, her flirtatious blend of classic and eclectic was honed from years of focused shopping around the world. Mixing vintage with modern, she has always loved creating one-of-a-kind designs in all forms of fashion and accessories. She’s been on the path towards professional jeweller since she set up her first beaded accessory stand at a school fair when she was 12. An Art History and Studio Art major at Dartmouth College somehow led her to Morgan Stanley for 7 years. But she felt the pull of her creative roots leading her back to the world of design.

Rock Me Designs have been building a private client base for their elegant and exquisite jewellery through trunk shows in London, New York and Tokyo. Their jewellery is now also available at some of London's smartest boutiques in Chelsea, Notting Hill and Islington. Every piece is handcrafted from the finest materials: a colorful array of gemstones, 18K Gold, Sterling Silver and 22 Karat Gold Vermeil.
Jen and Naoko's love of fashion inspires them to create new collections every season reflecting the colors and styles on the catwalks. Past collections include the dark and romantic Vienna Collection, the rich garnet and amethyst-hued Bordeaux Collection and the cool and fresh Azure Collection. The hessonite, iolite and citrines featured in the current Marrakech Collection evoke the exotic souks of Morocco.

The Luxe Collection highlights the rare beauty of precious gemstones and diamonds sourced from around the world. The intricate designs are delicately crafted with the highest attention to detail. These pieces are elegant and versatile  - meant to be worn both everyday and for special occasions. 

Rock Me Designs is thrilled to introduce their Bridal Collection which includes Bride and Bridesmaid designs as well as a Bespoke design service. Their jewellery allow each bride to show her unique sense of style and add the finishing sparkle to her very special day. A growing trend in the US, personalised jewellery also make a beautiful bridesmaids gift. All pieces from the Bridal Collection can be customised to match color and style.
